Broadcast skills for the internet are becoming increasingly important for print media outlets as they develop interactive and multi-media websites.
This course teaches print journalists to think and operate like broadcast reporters.
Participants film and upload images which don't require editing. The advantages and weaknesses of mobile phone-based recording and applications such as Qik are explored, as are ways of integrating broadcast commentary into stories.
This is a course designed to make websites more dynamic through the integration of cheap, accessible and hassle-free video.
